Not many companies, especially in the B2B space, really understand ‘what is customer focused’ or ‘keeping the user at the center of decision making’ means. It is about knowing customer and user better, and understanding their needs better so that the company can continuously build the right product that can be hired by a similar set of customers. Being customer focused doesn’t mean saying ‘yes’ to customers always. Many times it’s about saying no unique requests to be relevant to a larger set of customers and the company’s long term success.
